Senior Financial Controller

We have an exciting opportunity for you within Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Lenovo – join our team as a senior financial controller. In this position, you will be responsible for partnering with Lenovo EMEA finance teams to provide SME support.

The role requires strong analytical abilities and good orientation in complex tasks which go in hand with capability of deriving conclusions / definition of next steps. It requires sense for detail as well as significant level of independency and problem solving in given area.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting - ideally in a global organization
• Strong analytical skills and financial background
• Ability to understand complex processes and to question them
• Proven track record of delivering results in metrics-driven operational environment
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to achieve the targets and meet the deadlines
• Strong Excel (SAP / SQL knowledge advantageous, but not mandatory)
• Fluent Business English (oral and written). Another European language is an advantage.

• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
• Strong planning and time management skills
• Fast learner

what will you do

The key Roles and Responsibilities are:

• Consolidates and reports financial metrics (bridging gross to net revenues – GtN) for specific EMEA market
• Works on monthly and quarterly closing as focal for specific market. Participates / leads the financial review after closing with accounting team / CFO
• Provides / calculates / consolidates data / business results as a basis for forecasts
• Administration of the tools, monthly / quarterly set up of the system, approvals of spending
• Maintains the market GtN structure and ensures the proper structure is implemented, sets up factors on timely basis
• Follows and implements processes to ensure audit compliance
• Involvement in projects related to the processes improvement
• Supports business and cooperates with various internal teams (reporting, finance, back end claims)
• Works on Ad hoc analysis
