• 5-8 years project management experience and/or 5+ years of hands-on experience working in large-scale global content and product catalog management systems (Drupal and Hybris preferred).
• Experience coordinating global cross-functional teams (marketing, design, technical, localization, quality assurance).
• A knack for understanding web publishing tools and other technical concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• A core understanding of HTML.
• Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Adobe and Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools.
• Experience using SEO and keyword research tools.

what will you do

Lenovo is seeking a highly motivated and experienced web project manager for our Data Center Group (DCG) business unit web presence on Lenovo.com. Responsible for using best practice PMO methodology to create project plans to fit stakeholder needs and deliver on desired outcomes in support of the overall WW (worldwide) DCG digital/web strategy.

As a Global Web project Manager, you will need to have the ability and experience to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals. Capture and track project/program metrics and perform analysis. Manage project scope by assessing requirements changes, determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk. Manage stakeholder/sponsor expectations, anticipates operational and tactical risks and tracks them. Clarify, identify, and track requirements and issues, remove barriers, resolve minor project issues and escalate to immediate manager where required. Knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, and trend analysis.

Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA, MS Office applications, MS Project and/or Visio.

You will also be responsible for working collaboratively with cross functional /cultural teams and across multiple time zones dispersed across different country or global geographic areas.
Partnering with enterprise digital/web implementation teams, and product segment marketing, to support on-going digital and eCommerce capabilities and strategies. Identify alternative ways around complex issues, making solid recommendations on strategic directions based on business impact, revenue streams, time-to-market, competitive threats.

Overall Responsibilities:

• Work with internal business lines and partners to determine Web opportunities, goals and Web business requirements.
• Help manage development projects and initiatives from concept through launch with third party vendors and internal support groups.
• Evaluates digital performance using KPI (Key Performance Indicators).
• Consults and recommends digital mix to support lead generation campaign execution.
• Looks for best practices to innovate through the digital platforms.
• Edit and publish content on our Web sites for usability, tone and message alignment as necessary.
• Ensure site content is optimized for both internal and external search engines.
• Support inventory and library of digital content across platforms and channels; work with DCG marketing to identify and manage content libraries.

Managing product content:
• Partner with product segment marketing focals to enable accurate product positioning and product information on web pages throughout the product life cycle (launch, ongoing, end of life).
• Evaluate content and provide feedback to segment focals to ensure the product pages are aligned to the web style guide; technically accurate and supported by the content requirements for selected web templates.
• Provide product content and guidance to web marketing development team for product positioning and technical accuracy.
• Work closely with the DCG product teams to have full visibility of product launches (online).
• Perform continual website oversight of product pages, troubleshoots the website including content and links.

SEO management and best practices:

• Responsible for partnering with web marketing & development (“WMD”) to execute SEO strategies, including: keyword research, analytics analysis and discovering new growth opportunities.
• Support production of web assets inclusive of analytics tagging, and linking strategy, to be featured across all websites, campaign pages, and product pages. Support and provide inputs to navigation, site search and filtering to improve ease of product discovery
