Announcement Pricing analyst provide the management of a business with the analytics that measure product profitability and support the development of pricing strategies and plans.
Pricing analyst is responsible for tracking marketplace metrics and trends, as well as establishing, maintaining and analysing price reference documentation in order to uncover key market and pricing insights, such as how pricing strategy will affect the customer, and how it relates to the company’s goals.
Pricing analysts prepare pricing recommendations based on their analysis, and present them to management team.
Job Responsibilities:
• carry out price analyses, analysing competitor and market trends in order to set appropriate pricing
• Supports pricing and product management team in developing pricing strategies that are aligned with the business aspirations in selective segments.
• Provide pricing analysis for management, have an ability to carry out presentations, work with spreadsheets
• Perform margin, cost and pricing analysis in order to support business initiative
• Preparing price announcements of new products based on selected product strategy
• Work closely with cost team to capture all changes in cost tape
• Monitor whole product portfolio and prepare price action proposal for executive’s approval
• Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting, data analysis and support to the DCG server business.
