Indirect Tax Compliance and Planning Support Specialist (Ref. No.: 61148)

who are we looking for

Min 3 years working experience in EMEA indirect tax compliance - EMEA VAT compliance
• Hands-on experience in the review/ preparation/ filing of VAT, ESL, ESPL and other local reporting requirements in EMEA
• Hands-on experience in forex conversion/usage
• Hands-on experience with SAP use for Indirect tax compliance tasks
• Experiences in compliance VAT affairs related to manufacturing industry and Import & Export issues preferred
• Good knowledge on EMEA tax law and regulations and good understanding of local practices
• Self-driven
• Excellent communication and organization skill
• Strong planning, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Fluent oral and written English
• Additional language which is considered as plus – any European language

• Tax degree/ study for instance Bachelor of Tax, Accounting Finance, Economics

what will you do

In this role, you will act as a key Reviewer of the indirect tax reports. You will provide guidance to the operations teams by using your expertise on EMEA tax laws and regulations.

• Supporting transactional data and preparing indirect tax provision and compliance reports
• Preparing local filings
• Updating the tax master data changes for Indirect Tax
• Payment calculation and set-up through raising payment in TDP portal
• Supporting the reconciliations activities for indirect tax including Intrastat analysis and import analysis
• Collecting and preparing data for auditing purpose
• Updating of compliance manuals and processes
• Providing support in trend analysis
