CAD/BIM design engineer

Design engineer creates generic 3D models for lighting design software, basic data for the BIM process (such as Relux and Dialux) and combines them with the light distribution files. They are responsible for the quality of the defined data. Data validation and approval process must be adhered to.

Your tasks will be:
* Create generic 3D Models of our products in alignment with product manager, using SolidWorks, storing the data in EDOS/ECTR and starting the approval process
* Ensure that the 3D data for BIM is qualitatively correct and can be reused.
* Export the 3D data in Relux and Dialux specified data format and import it in Relux and Dialux (existing process)
* Validate the light distribution file and combine it with the 3D data in Relux and Dialux
* Validate dataset (3D Data, light distribution etc) in Relux and Dialux and start the approval process and release it
* Validate data set (3D data, light distribution etc.) for new customer requirements/ BIM platforms (Cadenas) and start release the approval process
* Close cooperation and communication with R&D department and Quality department
* Communication with suppliers

Our requirements are:
* Master degree in technical field
* Experience in mechanical design with SolidWorks
* Knowledge about measurement and creation of light distribution data and usage of Relux / Dialux (or other known BIM Solution)
* Knowledge of BIM, Light planning tools
* Fluency in English (at least level B2)
* Professional communication and presentation skills
* Be able to work in a team
* Communicative and open-minded personality

The place of work can be Nitra or Nove Zamky (based on your preference).
