Job description, responsibilities and duties

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Plant Controller to join to our Management Team in Voderady, Slovakia. You will report through a matrix organization to our Central Financial Manager based in UK as well as the Plant Manager locally.


As Plant Controller, your responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to)

• Managing, motivating and developing team of 11 people ( accounting and controlling department )
• Part of factory management with participation on strategic decisions and planning of activities that will lead to the profitability and success of the plant
• Keeping outstanding internal controls for all processes ensuring full compliance with SOX act
• Preparing accurate and timely Monthly Close, Forecast and Budget (P&L, BS and Cash Flow)
• Developing cost deployment activities and driving action implementation within the Engineering center
• Supporting effective Capex Projects with sound returns


To be a success in this role you must have:

• Professional experience in Forecasting, Internal Audits and Inventory Controlling
• Managerial experience in working within a financial department in a production or manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of Slovak tax and accounting legislation (Act on accounting, VAT Act, Income tax Act)
• Analytical and Problem solving skills to provide systematic solutions to issues that arise
• Fluency in Slovak and English languages is mandatory
• University degree in a Finance, Economics or comparably equivalent discipline
• Fluency in written and spoken English as well as Slovak Language is essential
