Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
To provide Lear Engineering representation and build support at the customer manufacturing facility - JLR Nitra.
To provide engineering liaison to the customer for Lear EDS products. Control of issue resolution and change control to ensure continued vehicle production.
• Change Control (Understanding latest level parts)
• Raising change request documents to affect changes
• Write Rework Instructions.
• Understand timing milestones and ensure Lear activities in the Customer Plant align
• Detail Design / Issue resolution / Tracker updates
• Participation / presentation at Customer Launch Reviews.
• Attend “start up” and “wash up” meetings for the build, plus attend customer issue meetings. Take away issues and provide responses in required time.
• Represent and protect Lear interests at Customer reviews / meetings / Track side issues
• Liaison with the Core Engineering Team and Manufacturing plant to ensure issue resolution.
• Support Launch Manager in all Engineering related issues.
• Co-ordinate with the Lear Quality Liaison to ensure quality related issues are progressed.
• Liaison with Rework coordinator for implementation timing feedback to customer.
• Continuous Improvement.
