A new opportunity has arisen for a passionate Operations Manager to join our Plant Leadership Team in Voderady, Slovakia. Voderady is a JIT Complete Seat Assembly facility with approximately 550 staff covering a space of 10,000 SQM; due to a large increase in customer volumes, we will be increasing this to over 1000 staff covering 22,000 SQM. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the new Operations Manager will be tasked with achieving all operational related objectives relating to HSE, Delivery and cost. Moreover, this leader should create a winning team through coaching, mentoring and driving continuous improvement initiatives as well as providing accurate and timely communication to the customer.

As Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

•Building and motivating a team of 2 Direct reports within Production and Launch and a peak volume of 800 subordinates
•Oversee the implementation and results of actions from day shift to achieve the Plant cost reduction targets
•Drive the use of Lean manufacturing techniques to reduce waste and cycle times within the Plant
•Ensure customer satisfaction and service according to corporate principles
•Overall accountability for controlling CAPEX Spend based on budget/ forecast

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Personality requirements and skills

To be a success in this role you must have:

•Strong drive, determination and man management skills to lead from the front and get the best out of your team
•Significant Management experience working within an automotive production environment
•Strong overview and experience in managing plant financial forecasting and CAPEX spend
•Strong communication skills with proven ability of working proactively with cross functional plant leadership teams
•Analytical and Problem solving skills to provide systematic solutions to issues that arise
•Fluency in English Language is mandatory
•University degree in an engineering or technical discipline



The salary range for this position will start at 60,000 EUROS per year however depending on the experience and suitability of individuals who apply, there is a possibility to increase this.
