LANXESS CEE is currently seeking a strong, motivated and talented individuals with the appropriate experience for the position of Customer Service Specialist.

Business Unit: Material Protection Products, MPP

Within the framework of the missions which will be entrusted to you, you will evolve within the context of a multinational headquartered in Germany. Your mission will take place in the Slovak subsidiary, within the Material Protection Products Business Unit (BU MPP), you will have the following:

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Build customer loyalty in the Chemical Industry as interface to the customer
• Manage the complete Customer Service from initial customer contact, support quotation, price maintenance, generation of order entry until final delivery to the customer
• Analysing the distribution channel best practice with the goal of achieving great customer satisfaction
• Handle routine and non-routine customer order activities, including managing customer demand, take responsibility to receive and record customer complaints and facilitate the solution
• Initiate corrective actions and take the lead to solve the issue for the customer
• Maintain SCM - related contract details in appropriate tools (CRM, SAP, Sharepoint, other)
• Act as an interface of local business with sales representatives, logistic service providers and other related parties
• Relay information on the market, customers and competition to the sales force and the headquarter ;

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) or German - Intermediate (B1) or Polish - Intermediate (B1)

Personality requirements and skills

- Good level of general education; a Bachelors’ degree, or Professional degree in commerce, management or equivalent;
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position within Customer Service and Supply Chain working in an international environment,
- You are recognized for your team spirit, your interpersonal, writing skills, and your thoroughness in complying with commercial regulations;
-You are autonomous and organized, efficient and you do not allow yourself to be overwhelmed by stress;
- You have sense of thoroughness, initiative and ability to work effectively with others in a fast-paced matrix environment.
- You are solution-focused with a simple and practical approach when executing
- You are flexible to adapt to the needs of the business and results-oriented to deliver objectives and continuous improvement.
- Fluent language skills in English, German or Polish language would be advantage;
- You are familiar with the Office Package, and have knowledge of SAP SD & MM software
- Customer facing skills both by phone and e-mail
