LANXESS is currently seeking for enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals for the position of Accountant.

Location: Bratislava, Pribinova 6, Eurovea

Key Responsibilities:

- Bank statements activities supervision/Bank statements postings (SK, branch offices); VISA cards statements postings; payment runs; outgoing payments for branch offices;
- Cash transactions and cash equivalents evidence and accounting;
- Responsibility for the petty cash;
- Check and posting of travel expenses and driver logbooks for SK employees, ensure compliance with internal corporate policy and legal regulations and rules;
- Attendance sheet for sales managers and CEO;
- Provisions for audit and CIT return postings;
- Reporting to financial manager/chief accountant;
- Supporting closing activities – monthly, quarterly and year-end closings for entire LXS CEE (SK, HU, RS, RO, AT, CZ, NL and PL);
- Accounts reconciliations – quarterly, cashpool reconciliations– monthly;
- Support during audit;
- Support to Finance assistant;
- Preparation of statistics for National bank of Slovakia
- Posting of incoming invoices for Slovakia
- Preparing documents for SK VAT declaration on monthly basis - summary statement

- University degree preferably in the area of finance, accounting, economics or secondary economic school or secondary grammar school
- Working experience in the area of finance, accounting, administration
- English proficient written and spoken
- Good comprehension of MS Office (e.g. Excel, Word, Power Point), SAP
- Flair for numbers and analytical skills
- Good verbal and written business communication skills
- Excellent teammate and willingness to share and support
- Diligent and accurate working style
- Detail oriented
- Solves business problems using own initiative and common sense
