Job description, responsibilities and duties

Financial Shared Service Center in Košice is looking for a new member to join our Reporting and Consolidation department. If you want to develop yourself in financial accounting and reporting field, we have a position exactly for you.

Main Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of manufacturing accounting, product costing and inventory management services in accordance with SLAs while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures in the drive for exceptional customer service, operational excellence and compliance.
- Support the delivery of monthly, quarterly and yearly reports.
- Support the Costing & Reporting team in the prompt and accurate recording of financial transactions (e.g. daily/monthly stock reconciliation, material price variance and landed cost variance analysis, costing worksheet preparation, cost revaluation, balance sheet reconciliation, etc.) in line with relevant requirements, policies and procedures.
- Reconcile the costing and inventory systems and journals, and ensure that updates are made accurately and in a timely manner.
- Execute timely monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, and accurate reporting in accordance with finance standards and practices.

Personality requirements and skills

- Minimum 1 years of experience in accounting area (Management accounting, Month end close, Reporting and consolidation)
- Experience with financial controlling or reporting in a productions company
- English advanced
- Another language is an asset
- Proficient in SAP FI/CO modul is an advantage
- Proficient in using MS Office
- Knowledge of IFRS standards is an asset
- Communication skills and customer orientation
- Ability to focus on details and to deal sensitively with confidential material
- Team working skills
- Practical thinking & problem solving

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Educational Specialization

Economics, Auditing, Finance and related fields

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

Double-entry bookkeeping - Advanced
Microsoft Excel - Advanced
