Job description, responsibilities and duties

Established Shared Service Center in Košice is searching for employee with ability to program in SQL to become a QlikView Developer.

We are open to adjust the job content based on seniority of a candidate, from fresh graduates to senior developers.
We offer opportunities both, to juniors who will strongly develop their skills in supportive environment and to seniors who will engage in challenging projects in international environment.

Main responsibility of the employee will be to develop applications focused on measurement of the activities and processes an international company.

As a QlikView Development Specialist you will be responsible:
• Develop applications focused on measurement of the activities and processes in QlikView.
• Administrate, modify MS Excel tables and create new tables at network environment.
• Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
• Responsible for building & improving insightful & interactive reports as per business requirements with a view to sustainability/repeatability.
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
• Support Performance Management team in order to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Business Informatics, Finance, Accounting, IT

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

Microsoft Excel - expert
SQL - expert

Personality requirements and skills

• Advanced knowledge of SQL and databases is a must
• Experienced user of MS Excel, knowledge about VBA & Macros is advantage
• Advanced programming skills, mainly in the field of Business Intelligence
• Programming skills in QLIKVIEW is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational skills, including prioritization, time-management and multi-tasking
• Fluent business English, both written and verbal
• General overview of double-entry accounting, deep knowledge is an advantage
• Must be able to work independently without close supervision
• Be able to work under pressure
