Job description, responsibilities and duties

The role of Site Manager is responsible for the overall performance of our warehouse in Senec Logistics Center including operations, customer service and office operations.

Main responsibilities:
• plan, manage and implement warehouse operations and administrative support to meet prescribed productivity and service goals,
• ensure the development of systems and procedures for operating and managing physical facilities, human resources, equipment and products in a profitable manner,
• implement of newly gained accounts or of additional trade lanes with existing accounts, including preparation of SOP,
• implement and maintain Performance Measurement System according to financial and quality targets,
• develop an annual operating budget and manage a system of controls to ensure that service levels and operational performance goals are met within prescribed cost, revenue and profit parameters,
• assure that all accounts achieve predetermined profit standards,
• equipment purchasing as per company policies and procedures,
• implement effective staff organization and provide leadership,
• selection, professional development and motivation of all warehouse employees,
• maintain customer relationship with management of all clients in the distribution center,
• manage continues improvement for Quality/Productivity,
• develop suitable programs for maintaining company standards of sanitation, maintenance, security, housekeeping and safety of equipment and facilities in a manner that assures their most efficient operation,
• manage and proactive communication of maintenance occurring on site to relevant parties.
