Job description, responsibilities and duties

This role is part of the national contract logistics business development (BD) team with the tasks to support logistics projects in respect of sales/business development expertise in Slovakia.
• BD in the business units warehousing and distribution as well as coordination of cross divisional BD projects for other departments.
• Prepares market analysis and continuously evaluates company relevant information.
• Develops, plans, presents and initiates actions in order to define and drive business development.
• Supports the other contract logistics BD managers / logistics managers in ongoing projects, strategic planning and BD with means of reports, calculations, analysis and presentations.
• Keeps contact with local authorities, developers, market research institutes, planning specialists of industry alliances and other market participants.
• Supports the local management in different locations of Slovakia.
• Cooperates with other company entities in the region and worldwide.
• Prepare and work out calculation, contract, logistics solution to customers.
• Drives contract logistics sales projects.

  • education degree in Business or Logistics is an advantage
  • min. 3 years of warehousing, logistics background/experience is mandatory (e.g. logistics provider, logistics or warehouse/supply chain department of other industries, engineering or similar technical degree)
  • great knowledge of warehousing / contract logistics sector in Slovakia – market overview
  • active knowledge of English language
  • good knowledge of MS Office tools
