Lead Strategic Buyer (Fluent German & English)

What you can expect from us

As part of our team, you will play a key role in indirect procurement, managing strategic sourcing processes and supplier relationships across multiple indirect material groups. You will also lead a small team of 4 colleagues.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conduct market analyses, manage RFI/RFQ processes, and select suppliers.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for Marketing, Overhead Cost Material, HR Services, Consulting, Travel, and Auxiliary Supply, including managing sourcing and contract processes.
• Lead complex purchasing negotiations with European suppliers and communicate results to Buyers in neighboring regions.
• Negotiate purchase prices, terms, and contracts while ensuring compliance with all procurement policies.
• Monitor price developments, conduct benchmarks, and maintain a European price map to improve cost structures.
• Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, including NDA, framework agreements, logistics agreements, quality assurance agreements.
• Review negotiation results for material costs against the budget and implement corrective measures if needed.
• Manage KPIs for assigned sub-material groups.
• Process and approve orders in SAP, including creating orders from purchase requisitions.
• Define supplier portfolios in close cooperation with German managers according to the material group strategy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers in Germany while working from the local team in Sučany.
• Implement cost reduction initiatives through planning, analysis and development.
• Negotiate and conclude individual and framework contracts.
• Lead, coach, and support a team of four to ensure effective collaboration and performance.
