Reinsurance accounting specialist

Your main responsibility in this role will be analyzing and processing of reinsurance bordereau from assumed business as well as the preparation of retrocession bordereau. You will be expected to take an active role in activities of Reinsurance Accounting Department. There is always something to improve so besides your usual agenda you will also participate in development of our IT tools and internal processes.
The position is suitable for candidates with relevant experience in reinsurance (3-5 years). We seek candidates who welcome working with numbers and do not fear even more complex calculations.


• Analysis, calculations and verification of reinsurance and insurance data
• Daily communication with our business partners (insurers, reinsurers and brokers)
• Analyzing and verification of quarterly reinsurance accounts, premium and claims and their booking in SAP module for reinsurance
• Broad scope of activities related to the day-to-day operations
• Active participation in the closing process (Accounts and estimation booking, checks and controls)


• University education preferably in finance, economics or accounting
• Analytical and mathematical thinking
• Experience/knowledge in field of reinsurance is required (minimum 3 years)
• Spoken and written English on advanced level, knowledge of German or French is an advantage
• Responsibility and reliability, ability to work well independently and as part of the team
• Advanced PC skills - MS Office, knowledge of SAP FS-RI or equivalent software is an advantage
