Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for a motivated accountant responsible to create cost calculation for new projects, new opportunities (quotations) and for capital investments (Capital Expenditures Requests (CER’s)) for European Driveline Business Unit quotes in Kongsberg Automotive, s.r.o.
The tasks include:
1. Preparation of product costing: Drawing analysis, bill of material and other documentation to prepare times, costs, materials and labor estimations.
2. Gather proposals, specifications and related documents in a timely manner with related departments in order to convert specifications to cost estimates for new and current products. Consult closely with the quote team, plant, engineering and purchasing personnel to establish required cost data.
3. Actively contribute to the development and support of cost estimating processes, benchmarking, cost estimating tools, and continuous improvements.
4. Providing cost support and training for employees in other departments
The tasks include:
