Job description, responsibilities and duties
As the R2R Finance Process Specialist you will be driving finance transformation in R2R stream, cooperating with colleagues in different locations and ensure smooth and structured delivery of Record-to-Report Finance transactions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work actively with Transition Managers to know transition status and pending actions
Contribute to Global Best practices redesign for R2R to create smooth transition process
Co-own and maintain unit-specific ramp-up and transformation plans
Support Global Process owners in projects and coordinate local units for required input
Support change management activities
Support the units during month-end-closing as first level contact for escalations
Maintain solid working relationship with key unit contacts
Contribute continuously to improving global model and related implementation
Collaborate, support and work to achieve the objectives of the organization, using appropriate digital technologies

Finance, Accounting or equivalent
Language skills
English - Advanced (C1)
Personality requirements and skills
BA or MA degree in Accounting and Finance or equivalent
1-2 years of work experience as Financial controler / Accounting specialist / R2R Finance Accountant
GAAP/ IFRS knowledge
Ability to handle projects and manage timelines
Aptitude to establish strong working relations
Ability to work independently as part of a virtual team
CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualification is an asset
Can-do attitude mindset
BlackLine knowledge or willingness to become expert in using the tool
Ability to travel on monthly basis
1-2 years of work experience as Financial controler / Accounting specialist / R2R Finance Accountant
