Job description, responsibilities and duties

About position 
We’re looking to hire an experienced product owner who will act as primary point of contact of the SW team to business stakeholders. You will be a part of a progressive team which implements measuring software product used in automotive industry.
You should gain and maintain a deep understanding of the measuring domain and its application in the SW. You will represent  the business needs in the team and strives to obtain maximum business value for the available development budget and time. 

As a Product Owner you will:

  • Create and maintain product backlog for measurement product in cooperation with product managers
  • Perform backlog prioritization
  • Conveys the vision and goals at the beginning of every release and sprint
  • Work closely with software development team to elaborate user stories
  • Support the project in implementing optimal solutions cost/value
  • Participate on project’s program management steering product to its prosperity
  • Oversee quality of the released SW product
  • Synchronize stakeholders involved in SW product development
  • Ensure product’s delivery on time with agreed scope

What we expect from you

Must have

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner is compulsory or working in a similar role, bridging business and IT - PO, business/system analyst, requirement engineer, etc
  • Understanding of SW implementation processes
  • Committed to the team and project 
  • Analytical thinking; ability to work in a systematic and structured way

Nice to have

  • Software Engineering background
  • Experience with JIRA or similar tool
  • Experience with personal representation of the project in front of external audience
