Job description, responsibilities and duties
The salary in the job add is a minimal guaranteed base salary and can be higher - depending on the skills, level, education, professional experience, technological know-how
The website content manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the organization’s online presence, with focus on population and maintenance of our Social Media Channels. In addition to editing, and proofreading site content, this person will also work closely with the technical team to maintain site standards with regard to new development. The website content manager will also be responsible for crafting email newsletters and online outreach campaigns. He will work closely with marketing members of our organization, so strong communication skills are needed.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of organizing, writing, editing, and publishing effective web content, information architecture, search-engine optimization, social media, web content management and web analytics.
- Prepare, implement and publish ready-made content for Social Media Channels
- Ability to use web-based tools to manage web content according to mission and values of the Kistler Group
- Knowledge of image editing software to size, crop, and optimize images for the web.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: Acrobat, Photoshop
- Ability to maintain a consistent look and feel throughout all web properties.
- Ability to adapt and learn new technologies and web content management tools quickly.
- Flexibility, energy and creative-problem solving skills are required to prioritize projects.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, to work collaboratively with diverse
