Job description, responsibilities and duties

Kia Motors Sales Slovensko is looking for an experienced professional to enhance its Spare Parts function as part of the After Sales department. As a Spare Parts Manager you will be required to ensure the delivery of all operational and commercial parts and accessory product activities to achieve maximum turnover within budgeted profitability.

Your main agenda will include the following:

- Assure ongoing delivery of original spare parts within dealers‘ network and boosting profitability within spare parts area of business
- Analysis and reporting of parts prices and business results (including defined strategy and competitor price programs monitoring)
- ACC sale improvement and development of motivation programs for dealers, preparing campaigns, social media promotions etc.
- Plan and develop the accessory range to ensure that it is updated and refreshed; remains fit for purpose and is priced and marketed in order to increase profitability
- Develop and maintain relationships with external contractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with the contract and service level agreements
- Monitor, review, develop and advise on locally specific adaptations of Kia policies and their implementation to support business objectives and achieve service improvement
- Responsibility for invoicing of spare parts and close cooperation with KMSS finance department in order to secure the proper and correct invoicing processes (in cooperation with internal support of one person)
- Monitoring of competitors activities, spare parts market general overview and preparation of price proposals
- Communication with suppliers and consumers
- Retention measurement (feedback to dealers, action plans, retention improvement)
- Wholesale program development – parts sales to non-authorized repairers
- Overlooking of fulfillment of targets in area of spare parts, participating on strategy preparation
- Oversee the development and delivery of parts related training courses to ensure dealer staff is abreast of current developments and standards
- Dealer support and building positive working relationships with the dealer network
- Any other tasks as per manager’s request or company needs

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards

starting at 1 800 EUR depending on skills and experience, 13th salary guaranteed (higher salary might be offered to a suitable candidate with a reasonable skill-set)

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Personality requirements and skills

- Good knowledge of English and Slovak language (spoken and written) and strong communication skills
- Results driven and goal oriented personality
- Excellent knowledge of local automotive market, especially with focus on spare parts business operations
- Analytical personality
- Experience with a similar position and business development in area of Spare Parts is mandatory
- Good business acumen and understanding of financial and business operations
- Self-motivated personality with pro-active approach
- Willingness to travel occasionally
