Job description, responsibilities and duties

To our international IT team, we are looking for a new colleague, who will act as one single point of contact locally for our users in the Bratislava office and support both the users and business in their objectives.

What this position is about - Purpose:
You will be delivering IT services to support business operations and timely resolution of reported incidents for the site, market, or cluster. What will you do - Responsibilities:
Act as the primary contact in the delivery of IT service requests and provide effective communication to relevant parties; perform timely analysis and prioritization of reported incidents, and work closely with relevant IT subject matter experts for prompt resolution
Proactively monitor IT systems performance and execute required maintenance activities; apply required updates and fixes ensuring minimum impact on business operations
Work closely with the IT solutions team to acquire requisite expertise and system documentation to support implemented solutions
Help assess the impact of business transformation and change initiatives on the existing system landscape
Provide required end-user training for specific IT solutions and services
Provide the necessary support to develop and maintain the entity-level IT disaster recovery plan, based on the business impact assessment; promptly execute assigned disaster recovery drill tasks
Establish effective working relationships with all internal IT Service providers and support them; provide feedback on their performance
Maintain an up-to-date IT inventory, timely software license renewal, and hardware replacement/procurement

Who are we looking for - Requirements
*Knowledge in key areas of IT operational support: Windows OS, MS O365, Video Conferencing, MS collaboration applications (e.g. Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive), Telecommunications
*Knowledge of provisioning and configuration of Workstations, Mobile devices (iOS/Android), and Collaboration equipment
*Knowledge of IT service desk-related software (e.g. ServiceNow or similar)
*Experience with IT procurement and supplier management
*You have a strong sense of urgency, establish priorities efficiently, are well-organized and analytical
*You have a strong customer orientation, collaborate well with a team and communicate effectively to solve problems and build relationships
*You welcome change, are able to think on your feet, and provide innovative, out-of-the-box solutions when needed
*We work in Slovak and English
*You have a University Degree in Information Technology or a strong IT background
