Payroll Specialist

What you will do
The Payroll Specialist – EMEA will be responsible for the accurate execution of the payroll process for assigned entity/entities. You will also be responsible for improving organisational and data processing systems/processes.

How you will do it

• Ensure that payroll for the assigned entity is processed accurately and on time for each payroll cycle. You will be responsible for the payroll processing cycle for a company/country depending on size and complexity.
• Process monthly payroll data and all variables based on instructions from various departments and input from internal systems.
• Liaise with payroll provider – outsource payroll processing where applicable and required
• Communicate with various stakeholders (internal and external)
• Monitor changes in employee status (e.g. entries, exits, temporary contracts, internal department changes)
• Make payroll deductions where instructed due to local tax legislation (e.g. company car, fringe benefits, etc.).
• Responsible for payroll balances and controls at input and output (source to gross, gross to net).
• Participate and collaborate with other departments on various payroll related projects.
• Participate in audit activities with internal and external parties.
• Provide on-the-job training to team members as required.
• Responsible for data accuracy and correct processing.

What we look for
Required

• Ability to organize and plan effectively
• Microsoft Excel advanced
• English – written and spoken is required, any other language is an advantage
• Experience with payroll processing either in-house or streamline minimum 2 years
• Strong analytical skills

Preferred

• Participation on different projects
• Degree in accounting, business or any finance related field would be a plus
• Experience working in international environment would be an advantage

The gross monthly salary for this position starts from 1650 EUR per month and a monthly bonus that starts after your first 6 months. Please note this is a minimum salary and our compensation packages are based on your professional experience and qualifications.
