Collection Coordinator

Job Details



In your role as a Collections Coordinator you will be responsible for activities related to cash collection, such as calling the customers to obtain payment or dispute updates, handling e-mail requests from internal and external customers, reviewing accounts and invoices and executing steps which will lead to having the debt paid by customer.

You will also support other finance operations by providing and receiving information from customers regarding billing, collection and cash application.

During your normal daily activities, you will need to maintain call logs and expected payment dates using your daily interactions with customers to encourage timely payment, as well as proactive contact on non-due invoices.

You will be expected to understand aging debt reports and initiate calls to, as well as receiving calls from, customers and take appropriate actions to prevent delinquent payment.

  • Advising customers on their invoices, outstanding debt and payment terms
  • Portfolio handling, follow-up
  • Executing ad-hoc activities related to cash collection as delegated by Team Leader
  • Possible participation on projects or development programs

What we look for

  • Fluent in English, strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willing to develop and learn, strong communication & negotiation skills, collaborative, team player, customer and result oriented, proactive attitude, flexibility
  • 0 - 4 Years in combination of collections, customer service, inside sales, AP or related experience is an advantage
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic skills in accounting software related to collections; and intermediate skills in Microsoft® Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research

In this dynamic and versatile position, you will learn and practice negotiation skills on daily basis as you will be the key player on getting our customers to pay. You will acquire management skills, too, as you will need to arrange your daily schedule, obtain as much valid information as possible to make our business grow and our customers satisfied. For all these you will be offered several soft skills trainings and you will have the opportunity to learn from your colleagues, too. As you will be working with Excel on daily basis, you will improve your analytical skills so that you are able to easily extract/understand the most important figures from the reports you have at hand.

The gross monthly salary for this position starts from 1300 EUR per month and a monthly bonus that starts after your first 6 months. Please note this is a minimum salary and our compensation packages are based on your professional experience and qualifications.
