What you will do

The EMEA Tax CoE is responsible for the EMEA Tax compliance and US GAAP / Local GAAP Tax accounting including calculations of income and deferred taxes under local (national) tax rules. In addition, the CoE supports the regional tax management with data needs in view of projects, compliance, technology, and controversy.

The team also supports Johnson Controls in the ongoing efforts to implement standardized and improved tax compliance processes, centralized data management, etc.



How you will do it

  • Daily support for EMEA Central Tax Compliance team
  • Preparation and completion of SOX tax account reconciliations
  • Processing of tax payments
  • Supporting regional tax teams with the Tax Audits
  • Manage accounts payable for the tax function: PO creation, Invoice approval & follow up
  • Vendor and accounts set up
  • Preparation and upload of Tax vouchers
  • Supporting tax team with accesses to various ERP systems
  • Managing signature and follow up on documents (i.e. tracking in/out flows)
  • Supporting tax compliance team with preparation of process descriptions
  • Reporting tasks in Excel
  • Cooperation with other finance and non-finance teams across the BBC
  • Assist on miscellaneous ad-hoc tax compliance projects as required
  • Assisting in general office management tasks (i.e. ordering of office supplies, social calendar, etc…)
  • Daily communication in English language (by emails, phone calls, virtual talk)
  • Develop international tax experience
  • Work with accounting systems (SAP, Hyperion, Oracle, iScala etc)


What we look for

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree and / or 2 years of relevant working experience in a similar role
  • Fluent in English
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize workflows
  • Strong team player
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Flexibility & confidentially is a must 


Preferred

  • Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills
  • Sense of responsibility and initiative
  • Pro-active approach providing excellent customer service
  • ERP systems knowledge (SAP, Oracle etc)

The gross monthly salary for this position starts from 1150 EUR per month and a monthly bonus that starts after your first 6 months. Please note this is a minimum salary and our compensation packages are based on your professional experience and qualifications.
