What you will do

The Finance and Accounting Rotational Development Program is a 2.5 year program that develops people who graduated in the last 4 years into future leaders of Johnson Controls. This is an intensive, exciting program that allows you to fast track your growth and learning. It is a lot of hard work but also a lot of fun!

During the 2.5 years commitment, individuals rotate to new positions every 6 months to gain an overall understanding of accounting and financial responsibilities within Johnson Controls as well as exposure to the various business models within the company.

Your first rotation will be in Bratislava, Slovakia which will also be your base. Thereafter rotations can be anywhere in Europe or the Middle East. Only candidates who would be happy to spend the next 2.5 years moving countries every 6 months should apply.

You will be provided with travel and housing expenses, as well as a living allowance based on the country you rotate to.

At the end of the 2.5 years program, you will be offered a permanent position in one of our Finance and Accounting departments.

Associates are challenged to take on additional work outside of their day-to-day responsibilities to gain further knowledge and increase their network within the company. Additional training and development and mentorship opportunities are consistently presented to associates and the expectation is that all opportunities will be taken.

How you will do it

  • Assists departments in simplification and improvement of overall department processes.

  • Assists in the creation of documentation to ensure consistent application and/or interpretation of processes or policies.

  • Data analytics and generating reports

  • Exposure to senior leadership

  • Some of the rotations you might do include a chance to work on across areas such as Financial/Plant Controlling, Financial or Field Business Analysis to name a few

What we look for:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics or Finance

  • Eagerness to relocate and travel

  • Proficiency Microsoft Office suite

  • Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making abilities

  • Effective and professional communication and organization skills

  • Fluency in English

Preferred:

  • Any additional foreign language(s)

  • Highly proficient Excel skills

The gross monthly salary for this position starts from 1800 EUR per month, plus a monthly bonus that starts after your first 6 months. Please note this is a minimum salary and our compensation packages are based on your professional experience and qualifications.
