What will you do

We are hiring a Finance Analyst in our business center, based in Bratislava.  This individual as part of the Finance team provides support to IRE French Finance management, performs financial analysis, participates in development of budgets, forecasts, provides required reporting at various levels and ensures accurate accounting and compliance.   S/he will provide support including preparing the input to financial presentations, analysis and other projects requested. 

The function reports into Business Finance Manager IREF France ( based in Nantes) and works closely with the Building Efficiency operations and finance staff across Johnson Controls.

How will you do it

• Handle the monthly close process and the reporting of financial results including Ops Deck, Flash, Spend reports, Outlooks   for the Indirect business JCI France
• Collaborating with the completion of annual financial plans (including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, TWC and Capex), budgets and forecasts as required.
• Delivering monthly financial results and performance indicators reviews, highlighting trends and analysing causes of unexpected variance of KPIs and P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow accounts
• Oversee the monthly end closing process. Work closely & provide financial advice to shared service centre on any related finance issues
• Collaborating during month end close with accurate accruals, correct allocations and required approvals while supporting the timely identification and resolution of potential discrepancies
• Support data requests from Corporate and IREF HQ
• Ensuring adequate internal controls are maintained

What we look for

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration focusing on finance/controlling or equivalent through experience
•  3 - 5 years experience in finance department of a large company or accountancy firm
• Experience in financial reporting & forecasting, good knowledge of financial systems
• Analytical, result driven and accurate
• Ability to communicate effectively and develop strong working relationships
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Fluency in English language

Preferred:

• Proficient with General Ledger, ERP platforms and HFM
•  Fluency in French language

Salary starting from 1700 EUR/month gross (plus a regular monthly bonus after 6 months of employment) based on relevant experience.This salary is our minimum advertised salary.
