Finance Pricing Analyst

What you will do 
Under general direction, supports the Global Pricing Manager. Proactively analyses and makes recommendations considering customer, competitive markets, product life cycle, and company costs affecting the business plans and profitability across products, channels and customer accounts. Collects, analyses and evaluates data supporting price strategy. Develops and maintains analytical processes to assess and compare value of Controls offerings relative to competitor’s next best alternatives. 

How you will do it 

• Responsible for creating and reinforcing continuous feedback to encourage successful pricing models. Responsible for implementation and maintenance of tools to be used by the finance pricing team. 
• Assists in determining appropriate list prices, discounts and rebates and coordinating any restructuring, updating, communication and publication of price increases.  
• Assists in analysing product markets determining the ceiling and floor prices of products. 
• Evaluates cause and effect with pricing, volume, cost, competition, distribution and segmentation. Recommends appropriate levels. 
• Monitors and keeps resources focused on strategic pricing initiatives.  
• Responsible for maintaining and enhancing critical pricing analysis and reporting in “big data” environments in order to have our financial systems up to date and with accurate data.
• Provides reports which allow management to effectively respond to changing economic conditions, competitive landscape, and market changes. Performs ongoing measurements and reporting on pricing effectiveness. 
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by the Global Pricing Manager. 

What we look for

• BS in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.  
• Five or more years of financial analysis experience.   
• Five or more years of analysis and data management using SQL and Python or R. 
• Strong analytical skills, research capabilities and overall business acumen required. 
• Excellent communication skills, including experience in written and oral reports and presentations to management.  
• Demonstrated ability to listen effectively, evaluate the most critical elements being communicated and relay that information to team members and management.   
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python/R, Microsoft Azure, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Salary starting from 1900 EUR/month gross (plus regular monthly bonus 6 months of employment) based on relevant experience.
