Finance Rotation Program Associate

What you will do

Building Technologies & Solutions, a division of Johnson Controls, is currently looking for highly motivated Finance Associates to join our 2.5 year Accounting & Finance Rotation Program.

You’ll be a crucial business partner who makes key decisions that impact the way our company runs. You’ll drive profitability by partnering with business leaders to execute high impact strategies.

How you will do it

The Accounting & Finance Rotational Development Program is a 2.5-year’s program and is designed to develop future leaders of Johnson Controls. During this program, associates rotate to new department/assignement every six months in order to gain an overall understanding of the accounting and financial responsibilities within JCI as well as exposure to the various business models within the company. 

There's opportunity to complete one or more assignments internationally. However, international assignments might be postponed or reduced due to current COVID-19 restrictions.

Any external candidates hired into this program would initially start in the country of their origin and relocate later on as soon as COVID-19 restrictions are reduced.

The main areas of exposure will be within Financial planning and Analysis, Financial Reporting, General Accounting, Internal Audit, Business Unit Finance, Finance Operations and others. 

Candidates are also challenged to take on additional work outside of their day-to-day responsibilities to gain further knowledge and increase their network within the company.  Additional training and development opportunities are consistently presented to the employee and the expectation is that all opportunities will be taken. 

The program is managed by a steering team of finance leaders from within the company.  At the end of the assignment, employees along with the steering team work to find employees their future role within the business.

What we look for

Required

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related Business or Economics degree
• 2 years of relevant finance work experience (ideally from a Corporate Multinational organization in a field of Accounting, Auditing, FP&A, Controlling, etc.)
• Strong interpersonal skills: Communication, Listening skills, Problem solving skills, Decision making skills, Assertiveness, Presentation skills
• Mobile and open to relocation
• Fluency in written and spoken English is essential

Preferred

• Pursuing an MBA degree, CPA, ACCA/FCCA studies
• Finance work experience, preferably Big4 or equivalent
• Any additional European language on at least conversational level would be a plus
• Proficient IT Skills – Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
• ERP knowledge iScala/ Oracle, etc. will be a plus

Salary starting from 2000 EUR/month gross.
