Senior Accountant - Intercompany

What you will do
Our Intercompany team is responsible for completing general accounting transactions across the JCI business portfolio, whilst at the same time, ensuring that we meet our internal and external reporting and control requirements. This role provides excellent opportunities to apply existing skills in a complex and interesting environment, whilst developing your professional profile through the use of varied ERPs, directly enhancing your career potential.

How you will do it

• Daily processing of financial data
• Perform financial analyses
• Preparing account reconciliations
• Prepare and post manual journal entries, ensure all MJEs contain appropriate supporting documentation
• Proactive reporting and resolution of unreconciled / reconciling items, propose solutions and remediation
• Lead special projects on various topics as needed, lead identifying and implementing process improvements, proactive application of CI culture, support less experience employees in CI
• Prepare reports for auditors / management / internal customers on regular basis. Lead reconciliation review with controller / internal customers. Evaluate the risk to the profit and loss structure, dependencies and financial ratios
• Coordinate the finance processes within BBC and ensure the alignment with the business.
• Mentoring and positive attitude to work, proactively sharing knowledge with less experienced team members to support their development.

What we look for
Required

• Business education degree or adequate professional experience focusing on Finance/Accounting
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the Finance department,
• Strong accounting / reporting overview - 
• MS-Office (MS Excel – advanced – tables, charts, formulas, pivot tables, MS Outlook, MS powerpoint), ERP experience (e.g. SAP, iScala, Oracle),
• B2/C1 level of English, communicative, collaborative and team player
• Analytical skills
• Willing to develop, learn, proactive attitude, flexibility
• Customer and result oriented
Preferred
• Yellow Belt Certified and PMGB certified – advantage

Starting from 1600 EUR/month gross (plus a monthly salary bonus) based on relevant experience.
