Accountant - Accounts Payable Coordinator 50% US Time

What you will do

 

Our Accounts Payable coordinators team has high level of connections with multiple finance and operational business partners, handles overall support of Accounts Payable – US support and is the first hand support to the business.

 
How you will do it
  • Manage complex end-to-end Accounts Payable process
  • Sustain excellent communication and relationships with business partners and vendors
  • Cooperate with Accounts Payable teams or other departments to find solution for outstanding issues, support with complex queries
  • Work closely with Business on critical issues
  •  Identification and resolution of issues and inconsistencies, suggesting appropriate corrective procedures, involvement in improvement projects
  • Assist with current Accounts Payable workflow and provide input to ensure process is increasingly efficient
  • Authorization and Audit of Payments, failed or returned payments resolution
  • Review of supplier statement reconciliations, follow up with business on aged invoices
  • Maintain record keeping systems, forms, policies, internal control documentation, and procedures related to Accounts Payables
 
What we look for
Required
  • Fluent in English (C1), strong verbal and written communication skills
  • 1,5 years of experience in Accounts Payable/Finance processes and knowledge of accounting, accounts payable principles
  • Understanding of inter-AP-departmental relations
  • Business education degree
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic skills in accounting software related to payables and vendor payments; and intermediate skills in Microsoft® Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, communication, and follow-up skills, with the ability to work in a fast paced team environment while meeting deadlines
  • Team player with pro-active approach and problem solving personality
  • Willingness to learn, develop
  • Innovative and constantly looking for opportunities to improve
  • Customer and result oriented personality
  • Analytical skills
Preferred
  • ERP experience is an advantage (SAP, iScala, Oracle)


Working in US time
  • Working patterns for US shift at Johnson Controls are 13:30 – 22:00 (Mon – Friday)

Our compensation philosophy is to pay fairly, also considering market situation and the value employees may bring to company. The starting salary is 1150 euros per month for candidates who meet our minimum criteria. However, candidates with two plus years work experience will achieve higher earnings.
