How you will do it

• Processes tax extensions, tax returns, Master Service Agreements and addendums for both paper and electronic delivery, as applicable
• Prepares Tax account reconciliation
• Processing and monitoring of tax payments
• Responsible for maintaining monthly due date lists for a wide range of tax filings
• Manages the online Tax file room for the department
• Scanning of Tax documents and returns into Tax preparation software system
• Formats and types a variety of correspondence
• Screens, prioritizes, and distributes mail
• Reviews calendars and anticipates logistical opportunities or needs to assist
• Assists with conferences and special events

 
What we look for
Required

• Bachelor's degree in Finance OR Accounting (specialization in Tax is an advantage)
• Advanced skills with MS Office, Excel skills (working with different functions)
• Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
• Capability to work in a fast paced environment and under pressure, attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills

 
Preferred

• 1 years of experience in a similar role (experience in a professional services firm/accounting procedures preferred)
• Become a TAX Assistant at JCI and you’ll be:
• Working in international working environment, cooperating within EMEA region
• Gaining accounting/TAX knowledge, involved in different tasks, supporting TAX Specialists
• Working on several interesting projects including Tyco/JCI integration, etc.
• Participating on process improvements within the department

Starting from 1000 EUR/month gross (plus a monthly bonus) based on relevant experience.
