Accountant - Accounts Payable External Helpdesk 100% US Time
The Procure to Pay (PTP) department covers all activities related to 3rd party supplier invoices, employee expense reports and inter-company invoices from invoice receipt to payment – including supporting the tasks of helpdesk, account reconciliation, invoice compliance and reporting.
How you will do it
- Our Accounts Payable coordinators team has high level of connections with multiple finance and operational business partners, handles overall support of Accounts Payable – US support and is the first hand support to the business.
- Manage complex end-to-end Accounts Payable process
- Sustain excellent communication and relationships with business partners and vendors
- Cooperate with Accounts Payable teams or other departments to find solution for outstanding issues, support with complex queries
- Work closely with Business on critical issues
- Identification and resolution of issues and inconsistencies, suggesting appropriate corrective procedures, involvement in improvement projects
- Assist with current Accounts Payable workflow and provide input to ensure process is increasingly efficient
- Authorization and Audit of Payments, failed or returned payments resolution
- Review of supplier statement reconciliations, follow up with business on aged invoices
- Maintain record keeping systems, forms, policies, internal control documentation, and procedures related to Accounts Payables
Required
- Fluent in English (C1), strong verbal and written communication skills
- 1+ years of experience in Accounts Payable/Finance processes and knowledge of accounting and accounts payable principles
- Understanding of inter-AP-departmental relations
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic skills in accounting software related to payables and vendor payments; and intermediate skills in Microsoft® Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research
- Excellent customer service, organizational, communication, and follow-up skills, with the ability to work in a fast paced team environment while meeting deadlines
- Solid self-management
- Team player with pro-active approach and problem solving personality
- Innovative and constantly looking for opportunities to improve
- Experience of working in Shared Service Centre/Retained/Outsourced environment

Salary starting from 1000 EUR/month gross (plus a 13th month salary) based on relevant experience.
