Create your next opportunity with us as a Finance Manager (US time) in our Bratislava Business Centre in Bratislava.
 
Key Responsibilities:

General:
• Achieve FY Profit Plan financial targets
• Guarantee compliance with BOS procedures for all Team / Group Members
• Set-up of Team Structure to support above
• Manage, motivate and develop Team Members
• Ensure the timely reporting of key financial information; monitor the performance and quality of the activities performed based on agreed Key Performance Indicators (“KPIs”)
• Ensure ethical and accounting principle compliance
• Ensure that external partners (e.g. PWC) and regional partners receive accurate and on-time information

Continuous Improvement:
• Drive benchmark studies with competitors and other JCI organizations to improve efficiencies and/ or control environment

Month-end Close / Consolidation & US Reporting:
• Formulates and administers approved accounting practices in fields

Requirements:
• University degree in business administration or adequate professional experience focusing on Finance/ Accounting
• Experience in the Accounting department of an industrial company or in an accounting firm (credit risk management is a strong advantage)
• MS-Office, ERPs (SAP, iScala, Oracle)
• Fluent in English
• Experience with transitions or special projects is an advantage
• PMGB certified, FIA Diploma is the advantage
• Min 2 years experience with leading people


Working in US time:

Working patterns for US shift at Johnson Controls are 13:30 – 22:00 (Mon – Friday)
