TAX Administrator

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Tax Assistant to join the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
• Processes tax extensions, tax returns, Master Service Agreements and addendums for both paper and electronic delivery, as applicable
• Prepares Tax account reconciliation
• Processing and monitoring of tax payments
• Data collection for tax audits
• Other data collection support for the region
• Responsible for maintaining monthly due date lists for a wide range of tax filings
• Manages the online Tax file room for the department
• Scanning of Tax documents and returns into Tax preparation software system
• Formats and types a variety of correspondence
• Screens, prioritizes, and distributes mail
• Reviews calendars and anticipates logistical opportunities or needs to assist
• Assists with conferences and special events

• Ideally a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Mathematics, it would be advantageous if Tax was a module covered as part of your degree
• Preferably first experience in a similar role however we will also consider recent graduates
• You must have genuine interest in pursuing a career in Tax
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
• Capability to work in a fast paced environment and under pressure
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office and Adobe
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in accounting procedures preferred
• Flexibility with overtime to meet deadlines
• Strong organisational skills required
