OPPORTUNITY
This exciting opportunity is right at the heart of our plant development intentions. We need an eager and motivated professional who will be a key member of the JLR Slovakia HR leadership team and lead the Capability team.
As part of the HR leadership team in Nitra, you will be responsible for leading the Capability agenda within the Plant Operations environment. You will be the key Business Partner to the Operations Director and the senior team, enabling development, implementation and embedding of development activities to achieve world class manufacturing operating processes, systems and capabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the strategic direction and deployment of Talent, Learning & Development.
• Manage the annual learning planning process and the subsequent training budget.
• Develop and deploy development activities to increase leadership capability and promote the right mindset, from first level supervision level to plant senior leaders
• Understand the future skills requirements and plan effective interventions to ensure the business is ready.
• Interface with government and public sector bodies to ensure support and funding for the curriculum in technical schools and universities. Ensure courses are appropriate to achieve current and future manufacturing capabilities.
• Work with schools and careers advisers to promote technical careers.
• Continue creating a continuous learning culture where there is curiosity and learning is blended (Classroom, mentoring, coaching, on the job training in authentic situations)
• Manage all Capability Cycle Plan activities, including Talent Management & Succession planning.
• Ensure robust succession and development plans are in place for key people and key roles through the Level 1 People Committee.
• Continuous development of the manufacturing competency framework.

Požiadavky

CANDIDATE
Essential:
• An outstanding HR leader, with broad HR generalist experience, and deep manufacturing experience and blue chip business understanding
• Strong analytical skills, a strategic thinker, able to create a compelling vision and to gain business and HR buy in, with the ability to simplify and operationalise a clear business-orientated people strategy
• Proven track record of developing teams and ability to build strong relationships at all levels within the organisation, able to connect across a diverse range of people
• Experience in transformation management: design, accompanying and facilitating of cultural transformation
• Facilitation skills and proven experience of facilitating sessions from first grade managers to plant senior managers
• Experience of working in a matrix environment, closely collaborating with colleagues from across functions and geographies
• Able to negotiate and influence at the highest level both internally and externally
• Ability to develop and implement strategy at organisational level
• Degree qualified or equivalent experience
• Experience of working with service providers

Desirable:
• Coaching skills, certification
• Knowledge of latest talent, learning & development trends and how adults learn
