The purpose of this role is to provide high quality support to the business to achieve its strategic goals through proactive HR Engagement Business Partnering. The Engagement Business Partner aligns with senior leadership on the employee engagement strategy and is accountable for the execution plan and ensuring delivery. The Engagement Business Partner is also responsible for the Trade Union relationship and all associated agreements.

* Develop and manage the relationship with Trade Union partners to enable business objectives to be met
* Lead Trade Union Negotiations.
* Develop and implement key agreements to enable best in class working practices
* Manage the people implications relating to the operational requirement of the factory.
* Manage operational planning for working arrangements. (Overtime, shift patterns etc).
* Support organisation restructuring, or change projects, from an employee relations and engagement perspective.
* Develop the Engagement strategy delivery plan and project manage deployment across all levels of the business.
* Champion all employee engagement activities leading to improvements in business results. (Absence, Attrition, Quality).
* Drive the performance management process.
* Partner with other key HR stakeholders both in Slovakia and the Global central team.
* Lead engagement related committees, driving the business to deliver the Engagement Strategy
* Represent HR at Automotive Industry Association committee meetings.


* Proven Human Resources Business Partner experience ideally gained within a large, complex organisation
* Strong business acumen shown through evidence of developing, introducing new or innovative practices/processes in support of strategic business goals
* Ability to multi-task a high personal workload, balancing delivery of conceptual work with attention to detail and hands on delivery
* Experience of influencing and implementing change in large, complex organisations
* Knowledge and experience of employment law and labour relations landscape
* Customer focused – ability to determine service requirements and performance measures, and initiate solutions
* Proven experience of improving the workplace and workforce performance through the delivery of HR interventions
* Degree qualified or equivalent experience preferred

* International experience ideally working for Blue-chip organisations
* Proven demonstration of a continuous improvement mind-set - able to pro-actively identify and implement process improvement opportunities
* Coaching skills
* An understanding of analytics and metrics
* Ability to interpret financial information
* Professional HR qualification or working towards
