Electrical Engineer is a key member of the plant based EE team responsible for meeting the objectives and targets set by the business for all aspects of EE quality relating to the specific plant vehicle lines, in the drive to achieve world class quality levels. Providing the interface between the Core Engineering teams, Parent / Sister Plants, Manufacturing, STA, Suppliers, Launch Team & Service. The Electrical Engineer will report to the CoC VRT Manager based in the plant.

Responsibilities:
* Supporting Running Change, CMM & PACN reviews
*Support investigation of engineering issues through Customer Relationship Centre (CRC) where requested by Local Product Engineering (LPE) team
* Technical support of Stop Ship activities and any Plant Supply interrupts
*Technical concurrence of any Containment action that affects the product released from the Plant
*Analysis of internal and external data sources to identify Electrical issues & develop projects to deliver containment and permanent corrective actions.
*Monitor communicate and respond to Customer surveys (i.e JD Powers.
*Ensure that current car AIMs are resolved within prescribed timescales.
*Ensuring that product changes are introduced robustly and efficiently into plant (i.e managing line trials & coordinating SREAs)
*Supporting report outs in various forums within the business i.e Sub-system team reviews, Plant Quality Reviews, VLQR’s, Supplier Quality Reviews, CoC EST etc….
*Interacting with the Launch Team to ensure that current car issues are mitigated against on new vehicle launches, through the build phases up to the point of handover to current car teams
* Developing sufficiency plans & Identifying projects to go after to achieve objectives
*Working on projects that reduce variability in the manufacturing process related to Electrical commodities

*Competent with tools and techniques relating to robust problem resolution
* Ability to assimilate large quantities of data
*Ability to use CANalyser / Optolyser
* Ability to use digital oscilloscope
*Electrical / Electronics Background
*Ability to build multiple internal and external relationships in complex stakeholder environments
*Knowledge of Manufacturing plant processes
*Competent presentation skills
* Proven ability to undertake multiple assignments & projects
*Capable of working in a reactive environment
*Capable of working in a methodical manner, to defined processes

* Permanent working contract, working directly for JLR.
* Meals for only 1€.
