* Ensure IT service delivery oversight.
* Support IT services stability and quality.
* Escalate incidents and coordinate their resolution. Provide support for major and critical incidents reporting service levels to stakeholders.
* Support interface with Project Delivery making sure that new projects and initiatives will be landed properly.
* Reviewing operational supplier performance reports.
* Highlighting potential productivity enhancements.
* Works with the local SD teams and suppliers to develop, improve and implement the service strategy.
* Ensure service availability and a high level of performance through monitoring and managing local IT vendors.
* Interact and represent local needs when talking to Central teams, JLR IT and Vendors.
Key responsibilities:
* Assist the Service Delivery Manager to proactively monitor core IT partners against SLAs.
* Responsible for periodic reviews of operational supplier reports on performance.
* Responsible for analysis of delivery of services. Report on repeated service breaches to the IT service delivery manager, against defined SLAs and other contractual agreements.
* Monitor and report on day-to-day standard service requests.
* Produce incident reports, and assist in resolution of service incident problems.
* Maintain close working relationships with core IT partners problem manager, incident manager.
* Coordinate activities between various business teams and core IT partners as needed to facilitate the provision of the services and incident remediation.
* Actively participate in daily change management meetings.
* Drive/document improvements utilizing problem management, quality and SWAT, technical roundtables or other service improvement tools.
* Collate data for the core IT partners with regards to the planning, design and improvement of service and component availability, including the investigation of all breaches of service level targets.
* Report on core IT partners implementation against agreed Service Improvement Plans, and support coordination of proposed actions.
* Monitor and report on compliance of the core IT partners with regards to quality
management, risk management, security policies and procedures.
* Analyse and report on supplier’s capacity management processes to identify any capacity issues, specify any required changes, forecast future capacity requirements based on business needs, IT trends, and key business transformation projects.
* Responsible for input into the catalogue of available services, updating it at regular intervals, and recommending inputs based on changes in business requirements or trending analysis.
* Support the implementation of changes to the service catalogue, including updating entries and communicating major changes to the supplier service catalogues.
* Monitor and report on non-standard requests. Make recommendations to the Service Delivery Manager of translating repeated non-standard requests into a potential new service offering.
