Supplier Technical Assistance Group Leader

Your main responsibilities will be:
• Responsible for inducting all team members
• Lead and coach the team to interact with and actively manage internal customers, dealing with conflict and managing expectations, developing effective relationships
• Proactively identify training needs of team members and deliver on job training as appropriate, providing coaching to improve individual and team performance
• Encourage team members to collaborate as a team, and work effectively as a cross-functional team with internal stakeholders to protect vehicle quality
• Facilitate and track effective problem solving within your team to contain incoming supplier quality issues, and effective communication of these to the supplier
• Correct diagnosis of reported incoming parts quality issues, and re-allocation (when required)of issues to other internal stakeholders
• Effective containment of incoming supplier part quality issues to lineside/point of fit
• Ensures compliance to Health and Safety for area of responsibility and promotes a safety first mind set within the work group
• Instigates actions to improve safety, conducts, safety, ergonomic and COSHH risk assessments

* Relevant experience in a manufacturing and quality environment
* Leadedrship Skills
* Self-motivated, with a “can-do” attitude and proven ability to work unsupervised
* Attention to detail and analytical skills
