Fire Technician

Performing preventive fire inspections
Identifying places with increased fire risk and number of members of fire patrols
Performing training on fire protection and training of fire patrols
Preparation and maintenance of the fire protection documents and information systems
Ensuring the fire protection processes in the plant
Determination of fire safety requirements during using of the building and change in the building use
Organization and evaluation of fire evacuation drills
Communication with authorities and external bodies
Maintain good industrial relations with site management, suppliers, insurers & external bodies
Be the interface between company representatives and risk consultants
Co-ordinating & designing of all aspects of fire engineering and ensuring completion on time and within budget costs
Carryout / review the results of site inspections and tests, including commissioning activities to ensure the
contract requirements have been achieved. Handover of completed installations
Implement wherever practical improvements which will enhance the function and performance of the
operation within Jaguar Land Rover
Assisting Site Management and operational teams in relation to Fire Protection
Providing statements about projects in the face of fire protection
Preparation and maintenance of the Civil protection documents
Performing training on Civil protection

Essential:

• Certification of Fire prevention technician according to legislation (no. 314/2001 Coll.)
• Experienced as Fire protection engineer / H&S engineer
• Good analytical, troubleshooting and negotiation skills
• Ability to lead processes
• Attention to detail

Desirable:

• Good PC skills
• Fluent knowledge of English
• Working skills with Electronic Fire Alarm systems (EPS)
• Understanding the operation of stabile extinguishing systems (SHZ)
• Certification of Civil protection according to legislation (no. 42/1994 Coll.)
