Job Description

Plant Quality technical lead for warranty and Field Evaluation Unit (FEU) issues.
Provides technical and complex problem solving across the plant.
The Field Evaluation Unit (FEU) Process is to identify early customer concerns, to establish Mass Production (MP) readiness, following the pre-production build phases, and verify issue resolution, by placing pre-production units into representative customer usages and operating conditions.

- Drive the Daily Quality Review Reliability issues of the Nitra plant vehicles.
Responsible for the warranty communication between the UK team and the Nitra PQ team.
- Drive the action plan and for all customers claims.
Responsible for the plant quality system management (Stop Ship, Gate Holds, World Class Product Audit, First Time True, etc.)
- During vehicle launch phases, from design through to Launch.
- Report-out KPI Dashboard aligned to customer quality corrective actions for concerns identified.
- Drive the quality meeting cadences and the quality engineering scorecard
- Implement the problem solving system into the plant.
- Part of the quality improvement team.
- Interface with the sister plant and Product Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing Engineering to ensure key procedure requirements are being adhered to, and helping to develop continuous improvements processes.
- Overall responsibility for departmental Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Morale.
- Lead specific quality system facilities installations during the process development build phases.


- Warranty, Durability, Quality and Reliability aligned to the subsystems
- Divert point First Time Through Output aligned to the plant targets
- Gaining and maintaining relevant Legislative accreditation (e.g. TS16949, IS0 9000, VCA)
- Vehicle Defect Reporting performance across the plant
- Control Plan adherence to required checks (ensuring scheduled audits are achieved)
- Lead the FMS/AIMS pre-filter meetings and support FEU start-up
- Manage the FEU Operations fleet FMS and FEU AIM decks in line with FMS/AIMS process.
- Ensure timely and robust upload of FMS issues to AIMS and ensuring FMS is populated with an audit trail.
- Accurate and objective status reporting of key aspects of Programme Health for Senior Management Reviews
