We have an exciting opportunity to work for a Jaguar Land Rover in the Nitra region. We are hiring the position HR Operations Manager

Job Description

This customer focused role will manage the HR Operations and Employee Relations and Well-Being teams located in JLR Slovakia, and will work with the broader HR Direct team to optimise the utilisation of JLR global processes, technology and data.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Manage HR Operations including tier 0, tier 1, and tier 2 Employee Relations and Well-Being (which includes HR case management) activities located in JLR Slovakia
• During the development and launch of the new HR operating model and service for JLR Slovakia:
- Contribute to developing relevant processes, policies, knowledge base and triage content, optimising wherever possible JLR global standards
- Provide Slovak SME input to HR IT projects, particularly ensuring that HR master data required by JLR Slovakia is authored in SAP
- Provide Slovak SME input into the development of the change management plan to land the new operating model and service successfully
- Manage the recruitment, onboarding and training of the HR Operations team
• Manage performance delivery including the balancing of supply and demand
• Responsible for delivering a HR customer service focused on the resolution of inquiries regarding HR policy, process and procedure
• Establish, build and maintain effective relationships with the wider HR community and the business i.e. CoE, Shared Delivery HR, Business HR and customer base
• Identify opportunities to optimise HR support and delivery, while increasing the productivity and strategic value of the HR Operations team
• Manages transactional support team and allocates support to Tier 2 professional services team based on workload and competence
• Provide overall operational management and support to ensure all transactional and administrative processes are executed accurately as per the service level agreements
• Act as the conduit between Slovakia HR Operations team and UK based HR Direct team
• Act as the point of contact for any escalations related to HR Operations quality, delivery or performance
• Develops, maintains and deploys policies under the HR Shared Service area of responsibility
• Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested

Prerequisites

Essential:

• Previous experience of working in HR Customer Service role with a proven track record of delivery gained at management level
• Experience of stakeholder management
• Proven experience of Process Development
• Proven Project Management experience using Project Management techniques e.g. Project Planning, Risk Management etc.
• Strong analytical skills to identify how one issue can impact on another and put in place the required interventions through support or from own knowledge base
• Knowledge of Slovakian employment law and employee relations landscape
• Degree qualified or equivalent experience preferred

Desirable:

• Strong track record of successful Stakeholder Management, specifically the ability to confidently advise and influence senior stakeholders
• Commercially astute with an ability to understand the business function that this role supports
