Popis práce
- Design, development and implementation of Material Flow Systems in the Plant
- Design logistic area layouts, storage plans, warehouse areas, detail material flow
- Create and lead cross functional team in designing technical solutions (equipment, layouts, handling) for parts handling in the plant.
- Design and implement processes and procedures for material handling.
- Cooperate with equipment suppliers, packaging team, manufacturing engineering and production team
- Oversee and manage all material handling related issues for production shop.
- Drive continuous improvement activities in responsible areas.
- Be the contact person for inbound logistical issues in the attended projects
- Support development of inbound logistics concepts, including packaging, transport, external warehousing and information-flow, and fixation with suppliers via the PFEP (Plan for Each Part) sheet.
- Support packaging development process for components in cooperation with the packaging engineer.
- Support investment planning and controlling for logistical issue like package/equipment investments.
- Advise and support MP&L during the supplier nomination process.
- Report project progress to supply chain management as required.
Požiadavky
- 3-5 years of experience as logistic engineer/engineering leaded or senior engineer
- Language requirements: English
- Advanced knowledge of logistic process in the plant and material handling systems
- Ability to read CAD drawings and layouts
- Good knowledge in Lean Manufacturing and Lean Logistics
- Basic leadership and project management skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work independently.
- Good time management skills with the ability to set goals / priorities are required
- Strong problem solving mind-set
- Demonstrate high levels of motivation and resourcefulness
