Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our global team, who will be responsible for:

- Developing custom specific control software for injection moulding machines.
- Specification, concept, development and test of the SW with subsequent creation of documentation for individual SW modules.
- Test of SW modules on a simulator or directly in production on mass-produced injection moulding machines.
- Customer support (Second & Third Level Support)
- Creation of organizational guidelines, standards and procedures.

Our client is a subsidiary of a German injection press manufacturer, engaged in the design, assembly and testing of electrical wiring harnesses for injection presses and the assembly of complete injection presses. It also includes metalworking in piece or small batch production.

Skills required:
- Advanced experience with C++, C, Python
- Experience with Siemenes TIA Portal, AWL, SCL
- Knowledge of physics principles
- Knowledge in sensor technology and logic circuits
- English or German language both written and verbal

- Technical and analytical thinking, stress resistance, willingness to learn.
- Ability to organize and plan work, independence,.
- Good communication skills and customer orientation.
