Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for candidate with following skills & behaviour:
o Proven business development track record demonstrating ability to penetrate/cross sell to a large portfolio of mid-market customers
o Ability to build and develop successful long term relationships with all key stakeholders including customers, operational management, sales and other teams and departments within Iron Mountain
o Ability to develop and maintain industry specific skills and knowledge
o Ability to develop product skills and knowledge across the Iron Mountain product range
o Ability to work well and at pace under pressure while delivering results to exacting deadlines
o Ability to work and communicate effectively within a multi-cultural environment and with all levels, internally and externally
o Competency and ability to develop skills in;
o Negotiation, Account Planning and Account Management, Business Development, Objective Setting, Negotiation, Problem Solving, Organization, Communication (verbal/written), Commercial astuteness & financial understanding, IT user capability
o Capable of consistently demonstrating the following behaviors;

Key Accountabilities:
- Generate new revenue from a portfolio of existing customers
- Build effective relationship with existing customers
- Active acquisition of the new customers in line with the company sales strategy

• Own and manage the Business Plan
o Develop and own business development strategies including an overall business plan
o Develop and maintain account plans for your current customer’s portfolio.
o Develop the plan of new clients acquisitions
o Achieve your Book of Business targets and any other personal objectives
o Manage your own time effectively, organize work schedules and journey plans efficiently
o Undertake customer needs analysis and establish new opportunities from current customers
o Monitor sales and account management performance against plans and identify deviations and potential threats requiring action

• Selling and Account Management
o Conduct activities in order to generate appointments
o Generate and qualify new business from current clients
o Meet with decision makers; identify needs, match against capabilities, propose solutions
o Manage requests for quotations, samples, trials and information
o Plan and prepare for account management visits to existing customers, have defined meeting objectives
o Present the full range of products, services and technologies to every customer where appropriate
o Develop existing customers via up-selling and cross selling
o Execute against defined IME Sales and Marketing Campaigns as required
o Be conversant and remain current with the entire range of Iron Mountain products and services
o Promote the Iron Mountain brand and value proposition

• Market Information
o Observe local market trends and relate impact to customers
o Collect competitor intelligence
o Share relevant information with your colleagues and other departments where appropriate
