Accounting Team Leader (m/f)

Capital goods – Bratislava region

Our client is an international company in the area of technical capital goods. We are currently seeking an experienced accounting team leader for the Slovakian sales office in Bratislava.

The role: You will manage the accounting department and its two members of staff; you will be responsible for ensuring that business transactions are correctly recorded/reported, for preparing monthly/annual financial statements and conducting controlling analyses, as well as for liquidity, budget and investment planning. You will also be actively involved in projects and will optimise the finance and accounting processes. You will serve as the contact person for banks, auditors, accountants and insurance companies on all matters.

Requirements: You will have a sound education (e.g. with a business or taxation focus), training as an accountant/financial accountant, several years of relevant professional experience (ideally with management experience in finance or financial accounting), good Excel skills, a strong sense of responsibility and a pragmatic, hands-on working manner. Knowledge of German would be advantageous.
