Test Manager

Defines a test plan and associates this with product requirements and specifications

- Must: proficient english - verbal & in written communication

- Plus: knowledge of german (not a must)

- Defines test campaign to execute the test plan per release (with proper distinction of test cases into regression tests and tests of new functionality)

- Drives team toward a maximum amount of automatic execution of test cases, but makes sure that manual execution is still performed where necessary

- Generates reports and metrics based on current test execution state

- Manages issues, supports team in test execution if obstacles are encountered

- Heads defect meetings and tracks software deployments to manage issue lifecycle (assignment from developers to testers after deployment)

- Makes sure that issues are either worked upon, assigned to the appropriate person or moved to other releases, depending on their importance for the product

- Coordinates with business analysts and software architects and ultimately decides "go/no go" live decisions

- Works with test and requirements engineering management software, i.e. Octane and Jira

- Occasional Travel to project location in Zurich is required
