Accounts Payable Clerk

General Description:

You will be responsible for processing Accounts Payable (AP) transactions through PeopleSoft / SAP Financial system in accordance to standard operating procedures, service levels agreements), Sarbanes-Oxley Controls (SOX).
You will be delivering AP services and process expertise to our internal / external clients in a global shared service environment.

Responsibilities:

-Process AP invoices (suppliers’, incoming invoices) in ERP systems in required quality and efficiency.
-Contact vendors, internal departments as necessary to request missing information and / or update invalid data
-Resolve issues preventing payments, responding to internal / external inquiries on AP related matters
-Meet given targets and SLAs
-Identify, track and report accounting data accurately and follow-up on routine issues flagging non-standard issues to line manager and make suggestions for improvements
-Participate on projects, process improvement

Requirements :

-High School or University bachelor's degree.
-Experience with office environment, company’s ERP , Microsoft Excel is advantage but not a must.
-Effective written and verbal communication skills.
-Attention to details with high degree of intellectual curiosity, accurate and efficient data entry / data handling skills.
-Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.
-Ability to exercise judgment within procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
-Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.
-Ability to learn quickly and understand the end-to-end processes.
-Flexibility.
-Experience of working in a Shared Service financial accounting role is a plus but not mandatory.
-Intermediate level of English.
