Job description, responsibilities and duties
Job Overview:
- VAT analysis work to determine claimable and non claimable VAT for invoices with detailed or non standard VAT treatment
- Prepare the monthly and annually VAT reconciliation and VAT returns
- Ensure quality and legal compliance in the area of VAT by random checks of VAT returns and other tax declarations before submission to local tax authorities
- Working closely with multiple teams like accounting, AP, AR, Treasury etc, to improve systems and processes for effective compliance management
• May assume overall responsibility for small size legal entity or regional tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration or any similar.
• 3 years’ experience in accounting.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft Finance modules.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Technical accounting skills.
• Good analytical and numeracy skills.
• Ability to identify financial issues and execute mitigating actions.
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.
